Two universal beams (UBs) or universal columns (UCs) Channels (PFC) or a combination of the two, joined together at 90 degrees with angle cleats or an end plate connection. This structural connection comes complete with grade 8.8 bolts.
Cleat Connection – The angle cleat connection comprises angle cleats on one or both sides of the web of the supported member. Each cleat is bolted to both the supported and the support members. Cleats are made from RSA sections (angles), which are then bolted to both beams.
End Plate Connection – The end plate connection comprises of a Flat plate, the plate is welded to the supporting member then bolted to the support member.
